Churches in Prudhoe Parish

St Mary Magdalene

St Mary Magdalene Church, Kepwell Bank Top, Prudhoe NE42 5PW

http://www.prudhoeparishchurch.org.uk

A loving community in the centre of Prudhoe with Jesus at the heart of all we do.

At St Mary Magdalene we are a church family - and that means you will find all sorts of different people here.  We represent a whole range of ages and stages - children, teenagers, families, single people, people in retirement and those living in care homes or supported accommodation.

Some of us would say we've known Jesus Christ for many years and some of us are just finding out what He's like. Wherever you are on that journey, you are welcome to come and join us for worship. You will always find a friendly smile and warm welcome.

At our main Sunday service, you can expect several songs, some prayers, one or two Bible readings and a talk.  We have communion every other week (but if you don't want to take part in that, it's no big deal).  We include a wide range of songs in our worship, from traditional hymns with the organ to modern worship songs and Taize chants. Sunday services currently last around 45 minutes and it is also possible to worship with us live via Facebook or Zoom.

Our Young Church programme runs every Sunday in term time and the children meet in the Parish Hall, rather than the main church building.

Our midweek service on Thursday is a spoken service using a more traditional format.

To get to know us a little better, you might like to visit our main website www.prudhoeparishchurch.org.uk or our Facebook Page.
